Location

Veljun is located in the municipality of Slunj, in Karlovac County, in the heart of Kordun. Situated along the Korana River, it is surrounded by the forests and mountains of Velebit and Kozjak. Veljun can be reached from Smrečnica or from the direction of Slunj, and the road connects this village with the rest of the region.
